You are welcome to request a link swap with your site (Especially if you have a webcomic or webcomic related site) but one way inbound links are especially valuable since they are the way google determines the value of a site. Feel free to hotlink any image from the site (Whole comic pages if you want) in order to place them in your site or blog or forum that you attend as a way to spread the word about the comics. Both inbound links and new visitors are really necessary!
