This here’s the closest the man has come to naming figures:

Tokyopop pays shit (~90 to 100 per finished BW page, though they do pay by 200 page book), compare to mainstream color monthlies… I was willing to draw someone else’s story for Tokyopop for that much… why not your’s?
90 X 30 = 2,700
If you’re serious, I’d be willing to down to… 70 per page (oh pride!)
70 X 30 = 2,100!
Send me the script, I do some sketches, character designs on spec, after approval, then like an actual professional gig, you pay half up front and the rest after completion on time.
On the up side the quality would be double these scribbles I put on this site and I can finish it in 30 days, a day per page.
You can print it out and sell hard copies for profit, if you want. (Color covers, extra.) If enough people buy it, you can hire me again for a second issue.
