Limbo’s not so bad…

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008 by Nestor
Nestor

Yeah this is from the time Idgie was in the monster’s mouth and Hyung was teasing about her being dead.

Did you guys watch the Futurama movie yet? Beast with a Billon backs? I thought it was all right myself, though I’ve heard not everyone liked it. But then this is the internet.

Anyhow, here’s the trailer for the NEXT movie.

Don’t let the movie thing fool you, this season is really being released as extra long direct to DVD episodes. Still, nothing wrong with that, eh?

Seems this one is going to be fantasy themed, LOTR parodies and the like. Looks good.

Oh, are you paying attention to the project wonderful ads up on top? These are run by actual human beings who see the site and want you guys to visit them, and bid for the slot. If they see no clicks they might drop their bids, and then I’d be sad. You wouldn’t like me when I’m sad. Hah, Hulk reference. No I haven’t seen it yet. But I did see this:

Looks like they really changed the Hulk for this version.

Hah, who needs new comments when you have vintage comments??

    Er, nice.

You aiming for a more printable format then?

Bon bons? I thought she ate monsters in limbo. Would be a sort of revenge for Idge…

Yay! First comment. Such a fucking ACHIEVEMENT! (Hint, hint, fuckng hint to all lamers)

Hey, I remember The Fridge from Wrestlemania. I think he was in G.I. Joe, too…

Posner!? “You know me, Posner. You know my meaning.” Heyyyy, that’s it! Chen as Billy Jack! “I’m gonna take this here right foot of mine and lay it across that side of your face. And you know what? There ain’t a damn thing you can do about it.”

I personally feel that the format is a step back from the old, but maybe Im just averse to change… Hell, whatever helps keep you updated better works for me~!

I agree. If it makes it easier for you to serve us, Hyung-Sun, then s’okay by me.

Sweet shading and colouring - new technique? It is, how you say, “awesome”.

The new format is confusing, but if it lets you update easier…

I’m allright with naked protests and all. I guess it’s a valid way to express ones ideas and political stance. At least they are more peaceful than some (http://www.jornada.unam.mx/2001/nov01/011115/ Images/057f2.jpg).

Bust must they do it in snow?! Today I was getting out of shower and (as the towel was in my room. genius.) I had to go naked to my room. Just the ambient temperature of ’round 15°C got me freezing and shaking and covering my things. I really want to have no idea how it feels to be laying naked on snow… o__o

As for the layout I liked the old one better but that’s because at 22 I’m an old guy set in my ways and no one will change that you punks! But hey, whatever makes updating easier, Hyung.

Why yes, Nestor. Following the almighty philosophies of the Matrix, ‘whatever has a beginning, has an end’. But, for the end to be created, you need a beginning. Therefore, initiating the beginning is something very special - it never hurts to emphasize this. QED.

*btw, the day that the Matrix contents actually were used in philosophical arguments was the beginning of a very, very ridiculous end (oops, hard disk flooded by a nasty virus? Format C:\ and re-install people!) as supplied by Revolutions*

I really like the painterly style that was used in the “communism” picture (ie. the onw with red background and her holding a rifle and all), it has good depth and mood.

If I should nitpick on it, her face seems too “clean” though, or lacks some shade, cmopaired with the clothes.

I still dig it though - Two thumbs up !

ignore my reply in previous post - I just noticed there was a comment section for the other picture as well. :p

    Wow…
Ignore them Hyung… it might be a big change from the original format, and a tad bit conflustering, but I have to say that it looks, somehow, more profesional… oh by the by… I doubt you will answer this, but why do you do this?? Is it you like to make people laugh, or to get your name and artwork out there, in hopes for something bigger (which there is nothing wrong with that)?? Or is it, you have mind controling software that will one day bring down our freedom loving sociaty in hopes to bring you as our new lord and master for the sole purpose of making us work in comic camps, drawing page after page after page of a comic that will one day be the cornorstone of a mass religion, that will place you, Hyung, at the thrown of Heaven?? If that happens, I have but one request…
can I be in charge of the pencils?? I can’t draw worth shit, but I am a good book keeper.

For an age old supernatural intitute, Limbo seems kind of deserted. The Girl and Mi sung are the only popel in life to be niether good nor evil in a christian sense.

    >I doubt you will answer this, but why do you do this??

    The “correct” answer:
Slowly gathering a fan base that once grown to a sufficent size, to which I will hawk more useless crap and half-assed comics at.

    The real answer:
    I enjoy it & because I can.
That is, I am able to.
As oppose to getting a straight job.

    >Limbo seems kind of deserted

They are in a comic Limbo. That is, a non-existant place in people’s minds.

Just like the “real” Limbo, along with Heaven, Hell, and West Virgina.

    Hyung | Email | Homepage | 11.25.03 - 11:59 am | #

Hey cool idea, since I’m in Virginia, everything here is west of Virginia, so does that mean that you’re in a non-existant place in someone’s mind?

    DFG | Email | Homepage | 11.25.03 - 5:39 pm | #

    Insolent peasent.

    I meant the state.

Virginia exists, but not West Virginia

i dont like the new layout

purely because it makes my browser have a left-right slidy thing at the bottom and this iritates me like a cinder in the eye

    gruntathon | Email | Homepage | 11.26.03 - 2:53 am | #

hey maybe you could draw nel with a cinder in her eye??

    but you dont have to

its not like im donating you money

    why do i feel cheap??

    gruntathon | Email | Homepage | 11.26.03 - 3:24 am | #

Ooh, I gotta get used to the new format… Looks cool though!

Annoying is though there’s no previous button. :S

    SoS | Email | Homepage | 11.26.03 - 5:10 am | #

Heh - The real question isn’t “why does he do it” but rather “can he stop doing it ?”

Probably not - I think he’s addicted to drawing stuffs.

… oh, and getting all the attention. :D
