glTron isn’t Freeware, it’s Free Software. It is licensed under GNU’s General Public License. The difference between Freeware and Free Software is that with Freeware you’re free to use executables without paying the owner. Free Software has to be provided as source code anyone can read run change and redistribute with the changes. Usually coders of Free Software provide executables, but they would also provide the source code.
I *know* you did it on purpose. Still, I had to feed you knowing very well you’d grin behind the screen with your pluripotent swarthy face of yours, revealing your pointy teeth.

And gltron is both free software and freeware, at least from what it says in the FAQ
