Pity the followup movies sucked so much, at least we got a couple nice video games out of it
Check out this awesome tech demo for smart resizing of pictures. It’s kinda mind blowing
Oh yeah I signed us up to the amazon.uk affiliate program, so those of you of a British or European persuasion can go buy stuff through that link (It’s down at the bottom right)

How does she squash her breasts into that chestplate armor?

Ooh, nifty. Just in time for Christmas Shopping. I was thinking about getting an external hard disk :)
Having a summer ad campaign seems a bit odd this close to November, but man it’s warm over here. It’s supposed to be hitting 18 Celsius tomorrow. I think 8 is more normal.

Choeki> They did have female marines in that movie, ask Vazquez.
CD> Don’t ask me about the summer thing, it’s their banner, maybe it’s from an alternate reality England that is in the southern hemisphere

I don’t think Vasquez had a lot of boobage to squash into her chestplate:
Hudson: “Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?”
Vasquez: “No. Have you?”
Vasquez was pretty damn cool, but the first time I saw Aliens I didn’t like her, because she didn’t take Ripley seriously enough. All brawn, no brains. I really want strong women to have some brains too. In fact, I want everyone to have some brains. Mmm. Braaaiiins.
Awesome tech demo. Click my name for awesome webcomic.

They really should burn every single copy of 2 and 4. 1 and 3 I would watch again, though.

The resizing technology was quite impressive. But not as impressive as new art on this page, gets me every time ^^

Sorry, it’s not new art. Hyung’s still sleeping in his coffin.
The guy who came up with the resizing algorithm was hired by Adobe, I think. Maybe it will be in next version of Photoshop.

Shh, they don’t know the difference. Anyhow if you haven’t seen it before, it’s new art! It’s relativistic like that.

Hm, came here to remove a spam comment, but I might as well mention that the smart resizing has been incorporated to the latest version of the Gimp, the open source photoshop equivalent (There’s a windows version available)
It doesn’t resize things in realtime but the math behind it is the same
