It’s Fuu!
From Samurai Champloo, wearing Spike, err, Mugen’s clothes. I have the series on DVD, but I didn’t watch the whole thing yet. I fail at watching anime! But it’s good, honest.
News:
Anno is remaking evangelion! According to him there have been no other worthwhile animes since so he may as well re release his old one. I’m sure his stock holders are terrified.
It actually looks pretty much the same, only with a big budget. Hopefully we won’t see any 10 minute stills in this one.
DC comics is getting into the webcomics biz, their website, zudacomics, is still pretty bare though, but I hear they’re taking submissions. Maybe Hyung should apply? If you’re going to sell out, might as well sell out to time-warner, they’ve got the cash.

I want new plots. Every comic strip should be the beginning of a new story. Eventually, it would end up having the same characters everytime, but one day, Master Hyung will reveal the super-meta-plot, which will reunite KF, GHMC, the dungeon thing I don’t recall the name now (CKTP:MATC), Zen Tales, Kill Harry, Bush vs Kerry (aw… we know the end of this one) HDTM and the new things to come. Everything shall be clear. You will see…

I was gonna ask if this is Fuu after she fucks Mugen, kills him, and steals his stuff. But as there is no trace of boobage on her, I guess Mr. Kim decided to show Fuu after head was chopped off by her father then sewed onto Mugen’s body by her undead mother.
I miss Samurai Champloo. I forget why I stopped watching it. Was it licensed in the US some time? Hate it when American company licenses anime long long before they are ready to publish the DVD’s. I lose all interest and never catch up on story.

I hate Vaz of Under Power. When i stopped reading it, it seemed like every five comics, he’d break from whatever script he had and started ranting. It was like Maddox, with actual artistic ability. On a related note, i hate The Lounge. Too much fanboyish fanservice, too many lesbians. Also, since i’m at it, Josh Lesnick kinda pisses me off with his whining, but he’s still amusing.
As for the drawing, how about the Badass from the KF archives? Weilding a huge-ass, phalic sword, of course.

I used to like Underpower. Then it lost what little direction it had.
The art is so-so in my eyes. I mean… Underpower ranges in quality from poor to very good and averages out to … well, average.

i got a request, an odd one to boot. id like to see in your style of art work, what you think the old cartoon character Underdog should look like. the old shows have a place in my heart, and lately ive seen lots of cartoons getting an mangastyle makeover. underdog just seems left out. (the hong kong fouie flash i saw over at catoon networks site was kinda cool till it went all street fighter.)
if however im being too old school for the site, how about a page or 2 explaining your observations on hair styles. id send some fan art but so far girls with pony tails is about all i can manage. how do you get that curly look with out scribbleing?
