Since Hyung is no good for us we should replace him!
Whoever takes his place must be willing to undergo eye surgery and eyebrow enhancement therapy, plus all the training required to match Hyung’s body type. The cosplay kit just isn’t going to cut it this time

Anyway, jokes aside, apparently Hyung is going to be doing storyboards from now on, which is basically the same as comics only it sounds cooler, I’ll continue posting the murder at the chateau on odd days until he gets around to taking over.
Let’s have joy and puppies in the comments box, maybe some of the new people who are reading these pages for the first time will feel they can comment in peace.

I have nothing wrong with you banging out a living, but to just cold-turkey give up on the crap we’ve been following without any reassurances of eventual return to it is downright brutal. I dun’t know about everyone else, but I really don’t care what story or characters or whatever you draw. I’m here because I like your drawing and writing style. Kill Harry, Manga Club, it’s all the same to me. I’ll also say that I don’t care which stories/comics you choose to end and discontinue, but dude?
You gotta FINISH at least ONE of these. I mean, you were SO close to the end of Kung Fool (were you? Maybe? No?) and at least to the last part of the Murder Thingie. So like, go ahead and quit, dude, but at least make up your incomplete work. You’d feel better about yo’self knowing that at least you did something, start to end.

Oh, come on. Kung Fool IS finished, dead, buried, gone to heaven in a little dream sequence as the synapses quit firing. Done.
The Murder at the Chateau is basically done — what, three more postings would finish it off, but you already KNOW how it’s going to end.
Kill Harry — I mean, the REAL “Kill Bill Part 1″ ended without ending, if you know what I mean. I think Hyung still has some good ideas to express there (like how Ron doesn’t die) but whatever he has time for is cool.
Hyung is an IDEA man, and once he’s done enough to fulfill 90% of the IDEA he’s done. Sure, I’d like it if he’d finish stuff, but clearly that last 10% is torture for him. If you go along for the ride, you go along for the ride, right? Saying “I go along for the ride, BUT I’d like more …” isn’t in fact going along for the ride.

The biggest problem with not finishing, is that there’s never been a dead tree edition of any of Hyung’s stuff. I bet it would sell. Not sure I’d bet $2100, plus printing costs though.

I was just relieved to not read that he posted comics on the interwebs under the pen-name “Hyung Kim”. Because the only other Korean that matters* live in Canada, and they don’t do that sort of stuff up there. So from where I sit, there was only one possibility. Until it wasn’t. Phew!
