It’s important not to look silly while wearing an octopus hat…
Miss Hampshire was the spy! All women wearing red chinese dresses tend to be spies, so it wasn’t too hard to guess.
So.. site stuff. In case anyone else hasn’t noticed, Hyung isn’t around, and I (Nestor, the webmaster guy) am posting old material. It actually isn’t that bad since it’s obvious a lot of this material is new to a lot of people regardless, plus I can try to figure out which sponsors work well with the site.
Basically, amazon works well, but the commissions are tiny so unless we can get 100x the amount of traffic or consistently sell high price stuff like say…
it’s not that effective. There are higher commission sponsors out there but I doubt anyone is going to refinance his mortgage through a webcomic ad. Then again you never know until you try, right?
As for increasing traffic I’ve secured hardlinks from sites like missdynamite, retrocrush, bmoviecomic and so on but it’s slow going, anything you folks can do to spread awareness of the site will be a great help.

If you want to spread the word then get Hyung back. I’d feel really silly telling all my friends about an awesome webcomic that stops publishing 3 weeks after I mention it.

I actually had a dream where I chased Hyung down and had to fight him to get him to come back to the site.
It’s probably not a good sign.

I stand by my previous idea of some manner of private investigator.
Not that it should be that hard to track him down. I mean, we know his name and general location, after all. We could also probably pull a photo of him from somewhere on the site, as well.

I’ll steal his identity and churn out drawings. But I don’t guarantee the pictures won’t be crappy nor do I guarantee that they won’t be stick figures saying dumb shit.

so, by power of deduction, it is safe to assume that Nestor is Hyung’s real name, and he’s been under an assumed identity and posing as a koren-american this whole time in order to be able to put racy/edgy webcomics on the internets!
think about it!
and when he feels he dont wanna be pressured (or wants praise), he switches back and forth as the situation demands it!
people bugging him about new comics? Hyung is out and Nestor is in.
DFG wants to meet Hyung, Nestor changes hats and becomes Hyung.
