This was mentioned in the comments but in case you missed it there was talk about “community effort” and coincidentally I noticed this in the referrer logs

but we have fallen off the main page of topwebcomics, oh noes! And I don’t think we ever even made it with the buzzcomix top 100, as for webbed comics we send more clicks than we get back so that is a bit bleh…

An ad for mcCain? Really… I haven’t seen it, it’s probably served by google only to people in the USA. I did see the one for the Ayn Rand forums and removed it. If you tell me the url it links to I can block it I guess… though I’ll probably phase out adsense altogether since it sucks balls
