He is smarter than he appears to be!
Not that that is too hard!
Man Idgie really likes her cake.
Nobody has preordered the Harry Potter book yet! WTF I thought we’d have a few die hard Potter fans around here at least.

July 21st? What happened to the 7/7/07 date?
Don’t buy Harry Potter books
Sure, Richard Stallman was only addressing Canadians, but since Richard Stallman is a god among all the commies, I must follow his words regardless.

I haven’t a clue about what date it was supposed to come out.
And Stallman is a fat windbag, if the open source crowd want to give away their work, they are welcome to it, but I don’t want to see them try to strongarm fiction into using the same concepts as open source software, there are already enough starving artists, thank you.
Here’s an article that explains why some companies are bankrolling open source. I’m sure internet companies and telcos would just love to be able to do the same with entertainment.

No way. I’ll wait until it comes out as a trade paperback.

Hooray for SAM-O-RYE AK-SHUN, regardless of how short-lived it’s going to be.

Hammer time.
Hey, did an order of Yotsuba& 2&3 and Understanding Comics go through you? I bought it a couple of weeks on amazon by clicking through here, but I wasn’t sure if it worked.

Yep, those went through, as well as DFG’s hubby’s christmas present - I was thinking of putting up a page with “stuff people have bought from this site” - technically that stupid banner on the side should do it but I dunno how good it is (As far as I can tell it just shows me the last few things I’ve been looking at on amazon)
The problem with amazon is that the comission is so low even though we’ve made over a grand in sales the payout’s still pretty low. And the google ads might as well not be there, even with the funny heads, sigh.

But someone DID buy a flag license plate after I posted one as a joke, so they do seem to get sales (Like the kung fu shoes? Someone bought those too!) So I’m hoping as the site builds up the amount of sales trickling in will increase from people ending up in archive pages via search engines and the like
