Did you not witness his fantastical performance as the title character,Ted, in the American cinema classics, “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure” and “Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey”? Being the established thespian Mr. Reeves is, I still cannot comprehend how he could have so realistically portrayed a lazy, stoned, rock-star wannabe. That’s true acting talent for you.

Still no rave/orgy. Disappointing, in a relieving kind of way.
Watching his ‘Hamlet’ made me want to eat my face, but it was mildly entertaining - seeing his struggle to avoid sounding like a Valley dude partially made up for the horror.
(It wasn’t a voluntary viewing - his high school drama teacher suckered us into seeing it. The things we do for extra credit…)

Speaking on how bad Keanu’s acting is, you do know that 25% of Neo in Matrix Reloaded was CGI, and looked a hell of a lot better than the real thing, though made the movie feel like it was on the Xbox.

Man, everyone is so rough on Reloaded! It wasn’t that bad a movie! It had some great action sequences, a fantastic car chase, Neo did some cool stuff, Agent Smith was cool like usual, and we were left with a cliffhanger ending while humanity is about to be shaken, not stirred. As far as I can see, everyone’s just jumping on some bandwagon since it’s popular to put Reloaded down.
No, Reloaded was not anywhere as good storywise as the original. And no, Keanu Reeves is no Tom Hanks when it comes to acting. But Keanu’s acting isn’t any different than his original acting on the first movie so this is a four-year-old running gag. And Reloaded is an incomplete movie without Revolutions since it was a “to be continued”, so I’m waiting until November before I make my final assessment on its plot. I think part of the reason people had a problem with Reloaded was also the fact that the damn commercials gave away every cool visual in the movie =P, so there were no real surprises for anyone in that department. And personally, I like the premise the plot presents where “despite having choices, you don’t really have any choices in your life because people more powerful than you are in control”, it’s very much like modern society where suckers like you and me think we have “freedom” but actually are just rats in a maze being directed by our government or the media or any other number of organizations. It was just too heady a topic for most people to grasp is all, so people respond with “this sucks” instead.
If you want to discuss bad movies, discuss Jeepers Creepers or LXG or Dreamcatcher or Steel or Mortal Kombat 2 any other number of horrifically bad movies. But the truth is Reloaded was NOT that bad.

I thought it had a good script that could have been better had they not made certain decisions with visuals. Sure, the scenes were cool, but they used 3D imaging, a la Final Fantasy-caliber, in parts of the movie where is wasn’t necessary.
